Oh awesome! You thought and smiled.

You took the folder and walked back over to your seat as the next person was called up. Sitting down you place your folder down and look at it. It looked normal and there was nothing on it besides the flag.


‘Okay everyone you may now open your folders.’ Mr Flare said.

You silently thanked the gods, the squealing of girls when they found out which country they got. Well that was only like two people, but all the same! You looked at your folder for a moment before deciding to open it.

You finished reading it and smiled. Suddenly Jason who was sitting next to you nudged you.

‘Who did you get?’ He asked.

‘Some guy from Japan named Honda’ you replied, ‘What about you?’

‘A got some French dude named Francis’ he replied.

‘I got some German guy named Ludwig,’ Amanda said ‘he seems very nice!’

‘I got a really sweet guy from Canada named Matthew,’ Grace said with a grin.

You chuckled at your friends and pulled a page out of your English book before grabbing a pen and starting to write.


‘Okay everyone please hand in your letters’ Mr Flare said.

Quickly you finished the letter, not trying to make your writing messy and signed it. Grabbing your stuff you gave your letter to Mr Flare and waited for Grace, Amanda and Jason.

‘What do you guys think of your pen pals so far?’ Grace asked.

‘Well Ludwig seems really nice! He told me about his brother too! Said he was weird and self-obsessed,’ Amanda said and laughed.

‘Well Francis seems a little weird...’ Jason said.

‘Well Kiku seems awesome. He loves anime and manga too~!’ You said with a grin ‘he also has a lot of siblings.’

‘What about Matthew?’ Jason asked.

‘Matthew seems pretty sweet,~!’ Grace replied.

Suddenly you bumped into someone and you fell to the ground.

‘Hey! (Name) you okay?’ Amanda asked and looked at you.

You look up at her then at the person who bumped into you. Your eyes widened as you saw your ex-boyfriend Michael. Getting up quickly you grab Amanda and Jason’s hands and run off with Grace running with you.


‘(Name) you okay?’ Grace asked once you stopped.

You nodded slowly and smile before hearing the bell. Ignoring you friends groaning you said goodbye before leaving for English.
